Workshops and Retreats in Etna, NH
Pierce’s Inn is the place for casual workshops, retreats and meetings for groups up to 50. We host day-long events with meetings and meals as well as multi-day events with meals and lodging. We have had diverse groups from DHMC and Dartmouth College to yoga and meditation groups, from corporate groups like Hypertherm Inc. and Mascoma Corp. to non-profits to education groups. GrassrootSoccer, the AIDS awareness organization holds a three day-overnight training seminar for 25 of their interns here at Pierce’s Inn each summer. While the groups that enjoy Pierce’s Inn are diverse, they have one thing in common. They value the unique experience. The blend of warm, private atmosphere, excellent food and comfortable surroundings allows for creative productivity.
For meeting space there is the dining room that easily accommodates the larger groups. Smaller groups of 35 or less often prefer the ambience and comfort of the couches and comfy chairs in the large living room with the huge stone fireplace. There is plenty of space outdoors on the grounds of the Inn for meetings as well when weather permits. The Adirondack chairs in the front yard with views to Vermont make a peaceful setting. We do have screen for projection, easels, 48” flatscreen TV and DSL/wifi. (We do not supply LCD projectors)
Pierce’s Inn is a unique meeting venue; we strive to provide an atmosphere where creative minds do their best work.
Workshop attendees are treated to a bevy of fresh baked snacks, and the juice and coffee bar is a cornucopia of liquid delight: juices, sodas, seltzers, countless varieties of teas, and fresh roasted, fresh brewed Mocha Joe’s coffee.
Lunch menus vary per guest’s wishes, all the soups are homemade. Salads are made with the freshest vegetables from local farms whenever possible.
What Our Guests Say
“Pierce’s Inn continues to be the perfect venue for our internship orientation–the facilities are great for our meetings and activities, the overnight ccommodations lend themselves to our interns getting to know each other, the food is plentiful and delicious and best of all, Bruce and Cindy are the most attentive hosts for which one could ask, without their ever being intrusive. A perfect combination!”
